Brisbane is the capital of the State of Queensland. It has a relaxed charm and is a hub for fantastic food, culture and the arts. It is home to more than 2.8 million people and was declared the 10th fastest-growing city in the world in 2022. In 2023, Time magazine named Brisbane among the 50 most extraordinary destinations to explore.

Queensland is known for its wonderful weather. With 283 days of sunshine on average and a year-round warm climate you can see why it’s called the Sunshine State. Brisbane’s average temperatures in June range from 12°-22°C (54°-72°), with predominantly blue skies. This sublime weather will allow you to explore all of the city’s natural beauty in comfort – sit outside to enjoy a meal with friends or stroll along the river.
